PITTSBURGH — FEB. 20, 2024 –– YouCompli, the leading provider of SaaS healthcare compliance solutions, today announced that version 2.0 of its flagship SaaS platform is now generally available for use. In addition to better helping compliance professionals manage regulatory change, the new version introduces a suite of reports that help them bring more value to organizations.

“The capabilities these reports bring will definitely elevate your program,” said Jenny O’Brien, president/principal of BlackBridge Advisors and member of YouCompli’s Advisory Board. “They include so much detail about regulation applicability and status that they’d be virtually impossible to reproduce any other way. By using these new capabilities, compliance pros will show their executives and Board members exactly how their activities translate to value for the entire organization. As a result, they’re more likely to earn mindshare, buy-in, and credibility – and secure the resources they need to have the compliance function they want.”

The new suite of reports improves compliance’s ability to monitor regulatory compliance management within their organizations, and report on it in real time. Users can:

  • Gauge and quantify potential areas of risk related to incomplete regulatory requirement assignments.
  • Identify volume of regulatory requirements by department to evaluate impact on organizational resources (time, staff, planning, etc.).
  • Quickly respond to requests related to organizational compliance activities.
  • Identify and assign specific individuals responsible for completion of regulatory requirements
  • Track progress and on-time completion (or not) of all requirements
  • Verify that regulatory requirements have been acted upon within the organization.
  • Integrate regulatory risk assessments scores into reporting to quickly identify efforts that need to be prioritized.
  • Manage it all from a single pane of glass, eliminating processes and countless hours of manually tracking data and compiling updates.

All reports are filterable, searchable, downloadable, and exportable. In more detail, they are:

  • High-Level Reports for Senior Leadership

These reports allow organizations to quickly and easily track their progress against their volume of regulations and associated regulatory work, and sort it by department and status. This helps users see how and when regulations are received over time by the organization, evaluate which departments are impacted the most, recognize compliance achievements, and realize opportunities for improvement.

  • Detailed Reports for Oversight by Compliance Teams

These reports equip compliance teams with all the information they need to know to effectively communicate, act on, monitor, and focus organizational compliance efforts.

  • Detailed Report for Oversight by Department Leaders

These reports enable department leaders to easily monitor regulatory assignments and manage regulatory work from start to finish.

“We believe in compliance departments, and in their unlimited potential to help healthcare organizations operate safer and more efficiently – if they have the right tools at their disposal,” said Jerry Shafran, founder and CEO of YouCompli. “We asked our clients what they wished they could do with a SaaS tool, and then we found a way to build it for them. It took the dedication and hard work of our entire team to bring this to market.”

The Health Care Compliance Institute is back to in person at the end of March, and YouCompli will be there!

We’re presenting the panel discussion “Reducing Healthcare Risk with Strong Regulatory Change Management” on Wednesday, March 30 at 1:45 MDT. The Health Care Compliance Institute panel includes healthcare compliance consultants Shawn DeGroot and Ken Zeko and New York Presbyterian’s Chuck Mazur. They’ll discuss how healthcare Compliance functions support the overall wellbeing of their organizations. Attendees will hear how they can:

  • Identify best practices for navigating regulatory change management in your organization
  • Elevate their skills in leading through influence
  • Connect compliance mandates to patient care, business objectives and reduced risk

The panel will discuss some of the challenges of effective regulatory change management. They’ll look at the risks an organization takes when it doesn’t support regulatory change management. And they’ll suggest ways for effectively navigating organizational complexity.

Their insights are backed up with industry data that YOU provided in our survey recently. Insights from your peers illustrate how compliance pros work in and influence across their organizations. The data also looks at metrics you’re using to show the effectiveness and value of your Compliance function.

If you can’t attend the event, we’ve got you covered: The session will be recorded and available from HCCA after the event. Plus, we will summarize the discussion and insights from the survey in early April. If you are at the event, be sure to visit Jerry and the team at booth #317 in the exhibit hall and come see the panel discussion.
